We’re Tara and Sharmaine, and we’re the founders of The Confetti Studio. Our small business was a hobby that turned into a full blown rental and design business. The Confetti Studio became official in September 2015 as a birthday present to ourselves (September babies!). We always dreamt of owning a business and, as sisters, we had the confidence in each other to bring it to life.
Sharmaine directs the business operations and not-so-glamorous behind the scenes parts of the business such as logistics, accounting, purchasing, and other technical aspects that I have a hard time grasping, but come more easily to her. Without Sharmaine, I’d be a lot less organized.
I, Tara, do most of the networking, event execution, and curation of our inventory. I love talking to people and really getting to know our clients and other vendors. I love providing exactly what people envision for some of the most important days of their lives.
Between the both of us, we are extremely passionate about what we do here at The Confetti Studio. We wake up every morning thinking of ways to keep growing our business and it’s been the best receiving the support from our clients and our friends in the event industry!
